Mini Pestchaser Electronic Rodent Repellers 4-Pak

Here is another ultrasonic pest control product that claimed to be able to chase away rats and mice from your house. I don't know whether this product is relly works as I haven't try them yet. I don't have rats or mice problem in my house ( I stay on 9th floor ha ha ha. I don't think the rats and mice will climb that high) so I don't think there will be a chance for me to try this product.

Product summary
Rats and mice pose serious health risks, but traps and poisons come with a heavy price. Poisons can endanger children and pets while inhumane traps require the handling of potentially disease-bearing rodents. Neither poisons nor traps provide long-term protection since more rodents will likely replace the ones you've killed. It can be an unending cycle. The PestChaser Electronic Rodent Repeller puts the emphasis on non-toxic prevention, instead of after-the-fact toxic intervention. The PestChaser emits high frequency ultrasound waves between 32 and 62 kHz to create an acoustically hostile environment that repels rodents from sound-protected areas, over the long term. It's kinder than traps, safer than poisons, and inaudible to people and non-rodent pets. New handy 4-pack provides coverage for 4 rooms (i.e. kitchen, living & family room and garage or basement) each up to approx. 800 square feet. The Direct Plug-In fits discreetly into any unobstructed wall outlet and works best in rooms where there is a visible electrical outlet unobstructed by furniture, drapery, or other objects. Not recommended for use with an extension cord.

Its easy to misunderstand the application of ultrasound. Trapping ratios actually go up when you put these units in. This is because the sound creates a great deal of auditory stress on the rodents. So they get confused and cannot fool the traps, etc.

I too had mice which I thought were gone. But they were only out of sight. Acutally they had nested below. I lived in a trailer. When I put the units in, I was able to trap out the existing population. Having the units in place prevented new rodents coming in and taking up residency. So plugging in the units and seeing mice in the traps MEANS IT IS WORKING!!!!! Read the complete directions as the company throughly explains it.

My observation regarding the first 2 reviews is that the 2nd confirms the claims of the first reviewer.
I've had these repellers in every room of my house and garage.
Result: no mice.

I've twice sat in my kitchen and seen mice poke their noses around the corner from a hole under my pantry cupboard, turn around and leave. There is no mouse scat or damage in my pantry.

However, I've continued to have a problem with chipmunks in my gardens and stone walls which neighborhood dogs tear apart trying to reach them. I recently put one near the wall and strawberry bed. The chipmunks have moved out.

I find them very effective.

I knew I had a mouse problem in my kitchen for several months. I placed traps all over the place and for several months I didn't catch anything. Thinking that all the mice had somehow vanished, I bought this repeller just to make sure they didn't come back. It turns out that the day afer I plugged this unit into an outlet in my kitchen, I caught three mice! I think this product may actually attract mice rather than repel them!

So from the three reviews above, 2 of them talking about the same thing. They install the devices and they catch more mices and rats with traps. The other one said the devices was very effective. If we combine the three reviews we could come to a conclusion that it seems this ultrasonic rats and mice repeller is really works. Anyway if you do have them in your house please fell free to post your reviews in the comment section. Hopefully your reviews on the product can be of help to others.
